Dark Craving: A Dark King Story

This is a good read, but not a great one. To me, it seemed like the author either intended this book to be much longer or got halfway through the book and didn't know where to go with the story. I finished it, but more because I didn't want to stop with 50 pages left than because I was desperate to know what happened. The dialogue gets sort-of Twilight/young adult which I thought was odd.

The book was ok, but I can't say it's one of my favorites. It was a very quick read. There wasn't too much of a back story and what of it there was kept being repeated over and over. Cassie was likable enough, although too trusting. There were parts of the plot that were unnecessary (the dog constantly running off was annoying, why was the brother not around, etc.) Overall, I think it's an ok read.

This book has such a great story line I just wished there was more character development. It was short and moved too quickly, glossing over any real details about the main characters. There were also a few typos that could have been easily avoided.
