Great start to a new series. I'm so glad it's connected to the Dark Kings and Warriors because I'm not ready to let them go. I like how Grant put this book out before the Dark King series is finished. It picks up where "PASSION IGNITES" ended. I'm curious to see how it will entwine with the rest of the Dragon kings series since their books will come out between eachother.

Baylon’s wild and reckless nature makes him the perfect assassin for Death until his newest order brings him face to face with Jordyn Patterson and she claims him body and soul which breaks all the rules in this fascinating paranormal romance. This fast paced smooth flowing plot is a thrilling mix of suspense, excitement and romance as the Reapers set out follow their newest order which sets Baylon on a path that could cost him his very existence. The readers can’t help but get caught up in all the vibrant chemistry between Baylon and Jordyn as it flows from the pages but this is one relationship that has an expiration date as it breaks all of Death’s rules and these strong dynamic characters demand your complete attention as they do just that. Jordyn has always been fascinated by the Fae but when a chance encounter has her being rescued from the Dark, her world is turned upside down with lots of spine tingling tension and excitement building as betrayals and unexpected twists keeps the readers on the edge of their seats with the well written scenes and vivid details bringing it all to life and drawing the reader in while the intriguing events guarantee that there is never a dull moment. Well, as you probably know I am 100% enthralled by the Dark World and this newest series addition is just as fascinating and sexy as the others. The Reapers are certainly going to give the Dragon Kings a run for their money in the bad boy sexy department with Baylon and Jordyn’s story being a great introduction and I can’t wait Dark Alpha’s Embrace to find out what happens next.
