A new Reaper!!

This is book 14 in the Reaper series and it takes place in Donna Grant’s Dark World. It is a part of a series and should not be read as a stand-alone novel. I received a free copy of DA Passion from Ms. Grant for a fair and honest review, as with all of her books I still purchase both eBook and audio to support the author.

DAP’s Reaper is not an established member, but added in during this book. Ruarc may be a new Reaper, but he is not a new character. He was introduced in DA Obsession as Rordan’s friend. As a nice bonus, we get another glimpse of how Erith makes her Reapers. Ruarc’s backstory, his love, his betrayal and his revival are all in one book. We also get a closer look at the Fae Other’s, aka The Six. There are those who dismiss the Reapers in the DW, which is a mistake. Ms Grant is weaving a tapestry here, and it is a wonderous. 5 stars to Donna Grant.

Keep ‘um coming Ms. Grant..

I loved this Reaper story. Ruarc and Chevonne were just a perfect couple. Both trying to save their families from the Others. BUT mostly I love Erith, AKA Death, she’s awesome right along with her mate Cael. Well, I’ll admit I do love all the Reapers.

There’s explicit sex and the F-bomb is used 5 times, as well as FEK which is used 19 times.

As for the narration: Victoria McGloven does a good job on the make voices and that’s all that counts. BUT when a story says someone laughed she really should laugh.

Wish more from other characters

love the book can't wait for the next one. I wish that there was more of the other characters in the upcoming books in this one I felt that it was a little short to be a series was hoping more of an eight or a 10-hour audible read hope that is up next.

DAP

Hmm... What can I say? It was very very good... I was a bit shocked that it ended when it did... I don't know why but I thought that it would be longer... I always want it to be more of the story, more of the action.... Anyway... We saw things that started to wrap up with characters that we fell in love with. There was Balladyn and a hint of his mate(I think so any way) . There was Xaneth and Aisling and the first glance to what will come. And we found the name of our new villain. LBitch I'll call her.
I loved the book but I have mixed feelings about the next two. To one corner is that I want to read the end of the series and the other corner that I don't want a series that I have followed for years to end.
Anyway enough rambling. I recommend the book and it does stand as a standalone but I would say read the others too, so you can follow all the characters and be able to be on the edge of you seat too. Highly recommended!!

This book is amazing 👏!

I love this book 📖! It's just awesome. I love Ruarc and chevonne they are perfect for each other. I think chevonne shouldn't have done what she did 🙄. She should have told Ruarc the truth and maybe him and the Reapers could have came with a plan a save everybody, but she just decided to do something stupid. I just hope they will find the others and kill them all. Ruarc is just amazing. I really enjoyed listening to this book 📖. I can't wait for the next one 😍!

Reapers continued

If you are caught up with this series then you will enjoy this latest installment. If Donna Grant is new to you then I highly recommend starting at the beginning of the Dark World Series. In this book we learn more about the “Others” and you get the love story of Roark and Siobhan. The series continues and you are left on a slight cliffhanger. Victoria McGlovern continues as the narrator and brings the consistency to a series that I prefer.

Secrets revealed

The story of Chevonne and Ruarc...their story ended awhile back and by a chance meeting they reconnected. It turned out to be very good timing for a reconciliation. Secrets were discovered that the Reapers and Death had been looking for. I enjoyed the book very much. It's a toe tapping (in anticipation) breath holding (in anticipation) letting out of breath (OH YEAH)
